Many of these positions act as effective ways to supplement your income while escorting and may add some extra security for slow periods or when you need some extra cash to cover unexpected expenses.
The first and most obvious of these is probably acting in porn movies. While it does seem like the most natural of transitions, it’s certainly not for everyone: there is a level of privacy that escorts enjoy which would largely have to be sacrificed if you were to pursue a career in the porn industry.
I once considered trying my hand at porn and even went as far as signing up with an agency somewhere in California. I completed a very lengthy questionnaire asking me what I was willing to do and trust me when I say it left NO act to the imagination. Everything from if I was willing to let others urinate on me to if I was willing to perform oral sex on other women.
I signed the contract and had it notarized and the only thing left was to put it in the mail. During this time, I’d been in touch with a gentleman who worked with the agency who had several phone conversations with me to ask questions, give me information about how it worked and arrange all the details.
The deal sounded like a good one to me. They pay to fly you out for a shoot that lasts a couple of days, you hop back on a plane to go home with something like $7,000.
Then my insecurities began creeping up on me. I wasn’t in good shape physically and hardly thought of myself as having a “porn star” body by any stretch. I wondered if I would get there and they would just shake their heads and send me back. That thought haunted me as the reality of things began to sink in.
I eventually came to the conclusion that I would rather not be stripped of all my clothes and possibly my dignity along with them, only to be judged harshly by people I didn’t even know and whose opinions really shouldn’t matter one bit to me.
So I took a pass on it, despite the appealing income potential.
However, it’s probably worth considering if you are open to doing a wide variety of sexual acts and are in outstanding physical shape.
The gentleman from the agency did ask me if I had any previous experience with porn. I said no, but followed that up by explaining that I had several years of experience working as an independent escort so I wasn’t new to the adult scene by any means.
He took this as good news and it was perfectly fine to mention as a qualification. I can’t say that it will be okay with every agency you speak with, but since escorting is technically a legal form of work, I don’t see why it would be taken the wrong way in a similar conversation.

A few years back, I signed up as a cam model on a popular webcam site, but as of writing this, I’ll admit I’ve only logged in to work a handful of times. Most of them require you to start in the free chat rooms and there your goal is to persuade a few of the viewers to join you for a private chat, which is usually more explicit and quite expensive for the customer. That of course means you make good money, but in my limited experience it’s not the easiest thing to accomplish.
Many sites allow viewers in the free rooms to send you tips, which is a nice feature.
